Existential Therapy: Practical Applications

We will focus on Existential Therapy but we will also compare it to other personality theories. Existential therapy focuses on human connectedness and choices. $50.

Advanced Skills for the Clinical Supervisor
May 24, 2008. Saturday, 9 a.m. until 6:15 p.m.
This is the course you need to recertify if you are a CCS. Facilitated by Jim Burgin and David Clark. $80.

Psychoanalytic Therapy
June 13, 2008. Friday, 9:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. Six hours.
While few CACs choose psychoanalysis as their personality theory out of which to operate, we can all learn from the theory which was one of the two initial positions out of which to counsel. $50.

Family Therapy

Family therapists are the New Kid on the Block, but they have a huge amount of teach us about addiction. $50.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

This personality theory is one of the most popular for CACs and this is a good chance to update your counseling skills in the REBT fashion. $50.

Criminal Justice System
September 12, 2008. Friday, 9:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. Six hours.
This course offers a great deal about how to understand the criminal justice system and how to work more effectively in such a system. $50.

Motivational Interviewing
October 10, 2008. Friday, 9:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. Six hours.
We have all been read about and been influenced by this style of counseling over the last years. Join us to enhance your skills. $50.

Courses are set up for $10 per hour, $50 for six hours (two 3 hour classes), and $60 for eight hours.

CCS weekly Supervision: We have changed the time to 12 noon to 1:30 onTuesday in Conyers. This is for those who need to pass the CAC test or need a refresher course.
